Hyundai ix25 Production Version Completely Revealed In China

Hyundai unveiled the ix25 compact SUV at the 2014 Chengdu Auto Show earlier this week. The new product from the Korean manufacturer seems very promising and now the vehicle has been spotted up close. While it is compact in size, Hyundai designers have managed to make it look very imposing and handsome. The front resembles the Santa Fe to an extent. The front of the SUV looks good with the chrome grille and the huge bumper. The head lights have a nice stance and the fog lamps look unique. The rear of the ix25 looks very European while the side profile is pretty much fuss-free.

As we said earlier also, we are in love with the interiors of the new Hyundai ix25. It is less funky and more premium. The full-black theme works well and the small silver accents placed in the interiors just add that sporty touch. The instrument cluster is neat and easy to read. The steering wheel and gear lever are wrapped in leather. The vehicle that is pictured here gets a sunroof and knowing Hyundai, we think the company will most probably offer the sunroof as an option in India too. Overall, the vehicle looks bigger than what it actually is.

Powering the Hyundai ix25 in India will be the same 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines that give power to the Verna. It will also get an automatic gearbox. The SUV is currently being tested in the country in the company of a Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. Hyundai will launch the ix25 in India in 2015 and it will be slotted in the Rs. 7-12 lakh price bracket. It will be loaded with features and quality of materials will be good. The ix25 is a good package and is likely to be another sure shot success for Hyundai.
