Performance oriented Hyundai Ioniq 5 N makes debut at Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the brand’s first all-electric N performance car. It comes with updated exterior and interior for a sporty look, high performing electric powertrain and mechanicals.
The carmaker has added performance enhancing details like contrasting black trim parts, wing-type rear spoiler, N Mask graphic fascia with functional mesh, air curtain, air flaps, lip spoiler, etc. The car is 20 mm lower, 50 mm wider at the bottom to accommodate wider tyres and 80 mm longer due to the more prominent diffuser. It gets forged 21-inch aluminum wheels that are wrapped in 275/35R21 Pirelli P-Zero tyres.
The interior too gets N-branded elements including the steering wheel, seats, door scuff panels and metal pedals. Newly designed N steering wheel features the N logo for the first time. Driving modes can be customised and matched to each button in various combinations.
N Grin Boost button positioned at 3 o’clock allows instant and intuitive access to maximise acceleration. Paddles are positioned at driver’s fingertips to engage N e-shift and N Pedal features.
The N seats have reinforced bolsters and are positioned about 20 mm lower compared to the basic specification.
Let’s talk about the specs of the car. The front motor produces 226 PS of power, the rear motor produces 383 PS of power and the combined power output is 609 PS. The total boost output is 650 PS.
