Hyundai Ioniq 5 booking open in India
Hyundai has started accepting booking for the all-electric Ioniq 5 SUV in India. Customers can book the vehicle across all the dealerships or online with Rs. 1 lakh booking amount.
It will be the carmaker’s first BEV to be introduced on Hyundai Motor Group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). They showcased the Vehicle to load (V2L) capability of Hyundai Ioniq 5 that illuminated the Gateway of India.
It can charge from 10-80 percent in just 18 minutes (using a 350kw DC charger). The car is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense (Level 2 ADAS).
It comes with 8-speaker Bose audio system, ambient sounds, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 60 connected car features, dual zone climate control, wireless charging, front heated & ventilated seats and rear heated seats.
It will be offered in three colour options – Gravity gold matte, Optic white and Midnight black pearl.
The Ioniq 5 is powered by an electric motor that produces 217 PS and 350 Nm of torque. It gets a 72.6 kWh battery that offers an ARAI claimed range of 631 km.
Safety features include 6 Airbags (Driver & Passenger, Side & Curtain), Virtual engine sound system (VESS), Electric parking brake (EPB), All Four Disc Brakes, Multi collision-avoidance brake (MCB) and Power Child Lock.
