Hyundai Introduces 2021 Creta With Revised Styling Abroad

The new radiator grille helps the car look a bit less quirky

This mild facelift that Hyundai has given the 2021 Creta will not be transferred to the Indian model

Hyundai has unveiled the 2021 model year Creta facelift for overseas markets with mild exterior styling revisions and a new interior colour theme.

To be put on sale in Russia and other left-hand drive markets, this version of the compact SUV is unlikely to make it to India.

Mechanically, the Russian version will remain the same as before

The styling changes that the 2021 Hyundai Creta facelift has received only affect the front and rear profiles of the vehicle.

Upfront, there is now a restyled hexagonal grille with chrome garnish on the outer edges, a revised bumper that features new fog lights.

As expected, the Creta has received an interior theme change

While the headlights and tail lamps have been left untouched, the portion of the tail gate just under the windscreen has been reprofiled.

Inside, the 2021 Hyundai Creta facelift features the Brown and Black dual tone theme introduced in the Alcazar. No other changes have been made.

This new interior colour theme could be applied to the Indian model as well

In Russia, the facelifted Creta will be available with either a 1.6-litre (121 HP) or 2.0-litre (148 HP) petrol engine options and 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox choices which send the motor’s power to all 4 wheels.

As mentioned above, Hyundai is unlikely to make these exterior changes to the Indian-spec Creta, for the carmaker is working to provide a midlife refresh, inspired by the styling of the new generation Tucson, to the compact SUV. However, the dual tone Brown and Black interior theme should be applied to the Indian model.
