Hyundai has already received tremendous success for the new Fluidic Verna which has attracted 20000 bookings already. The company does not want to keep customers waiting, nor do they want cancellations which would be an advantage for its competitors. Thus the Korean automaker has decided to hike production of the Verna at its Chennai facility. Launched in May this year, the new Hyundai Verna is available in four engine options, with the top end models being available in automatic transmission for both petrol and diesel variants.

“In order to cater to the strong demand, we are trying to increase the production to help us reduce the waiting period and clear the backlog of bookings at the earliest,” Arvind Saxena, Hyundai India, Director, Marketing and Sales, said.
