Hyundai Exter interior revealed in official pictures
Hyundai has revealed the interior of the Exter for the first time. The Tata Punch rival gets an all-black interior theme with a similar looking dashboard that might remind you of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
It gets a 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system along with an all-digital instrument cluster that gets a 4-inch colour display for MID. It is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The TFT MID displays info like TPMS, Parking Distance, Door Open, Sunroof Open, 10 Regional + 2 Global languages as well as seatbelt reminder display for all seats.
The Exter will also get Over-the-air (OTA) updates for the infotainment system and maps. It is equipped with 60 connected features via Bluelink that includes functions like safety & security, remote services, location based services, vehicle diagnostics and voice assistance.
Hyundai is offering Embedded Voice Commands (over 90) that work even without internet connectivity and this includes Hinglish voice commands such as “Sunroof Kholo”, “Temperature Kam Kardo”, etc.
Other features include H2C (Home to Car) Alexa in Hindi & English, infotainment with multi-language UI support (10 regional and 2 international languages), Ambient Sounds of Nature with 7 acoustic profiles, rear AC vents, cruise control, dashcam, electric sunroof, Headlamp Escort function, Auto Headlamps, Rear Defogger, Rear Parking Camera, etc.
Safety features include ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), HAC (Hill Assist Control), 3-Point Seat Belt & seatbelt reminder (all seats), Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, ESS, Burglar Alarm, etc.
With a wheelbase of 2450 mm and height of 1631 mm, Hyundai claims it has the best in class cabin space.
At the time of the launch Hyundai will be offering the Exter with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and AMT gearbox options.
