Hyundai is recalling 7567 units of the Eon for an issue where the clutch cable is found to be fouling with the battery cable.

Recalls are a part and parcel of every automaker and this time, it is Hyundai who is recalling one of its products. The Hyundai Eon is being recalled in India for an issue where the clutch cable is found to be fouling with the battery cable. Vehicles manufactured between 1st – 31st January 2015 have been affected by this issue.

Hyundai is recalling a total of 7657 cars manufactured in this timeframe. Hyundai representatives will be calling up customers who’s vehicles are affected and they will be asked to visit a Hyundai service centre during a notified period of time. The vehicles will be inspected and the battery cable will be replaced free of cost, if found damaged.

Almost every manufacturer has to recall some of their products at times because when vehicles are produced in such large scale numbers, issues are bound to pop up at times. Customers get a sense of trust when companies recall their vehicles voluntarily to rectify issues that are present.
