Hyundai will commence bookings of its upcoming small car, the Eon from tomorrow. The Eon will be locally manufactured at the company’s facility at Sriperumbudur near Chennai and will have a starting price of Rs. 2.5 lakhs for the base variant (which lacks power steering). The Eon will squarely look at eating into the Maruti Alto’s pie every month, which is the largest selling car in India. The Korean automaker will launch the Hyundai Eon around the 14th of October and delivers are expected to start by the 20th of October.
