Hyundai has unveiled the Creta Diamond Edition in Brazil.
At the ongoing Sao Paulo Motor Show 2018, Hyundai revealed the Creta Diamond Edition concept. It is based on the Hyundai Creta Prestige which is the range topping model of the Creta sold in Brazil. The Creta Diamond Edition was tested by the company a few days ago and now it is unveiled as a concept.
The compact SUV was developed by Hyundai Brazil team and offers a number of luxury features. For starters, it features a panoramic sunroof, dual tone interior layout, microfibre seats and other exquisite accessories.
The Hyundai Creta Diamond Edition is painted in a special colour known as ‘Deep Dive blue’. It looks very glossy and premium. The car uses 19-inch alloy wheels coupled with 245/45 section tyres.
In terms of entertainment features, the Diamond Edition is equipped with a JBL sound system with 3 amplifiers, 6 speakers and a 750-Watt subwoofer. The full potential of these speakers is utilised through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, both of which are available on the Creta Diamond concept. The entertainment system also includes a 7-inch touchscreen at the front and for the second-row passengers, dual 10-inch screens.
It is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine which produces 156 HP and is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Hyundai Creta Diamond concept is expected to go into production for the South American market. However, it is unlikely that this edition will come to India.
