Hyundai has given its compact SUV, the Creta, some minor cosmetic updates.
The Hyundai Creta gets some minor cosmetic updates. The compact SUV now comes with a new Earth Brown body colour and a Luxure Brown interior colour pack. Hyundai has given this update just ahead of its rival, the Renault Captur’s launch. Is this the Renault Captur effect? We don’t think so!
Hyundai has discontinued the Pearl Beige and the dual-tone Red Passion with Phantom Black colour schemes on the Creta. The vehicle is now available in 7 single-tone and 1 dual-tone colours. The interior receives minor tweaks as well. The SX+ dual-tone variants of the Creta now get a Luruxe Brown interior colour package. The seat fabrics get brown inserts, there is a leather-wrapped steering with contrast stitching and brown accents on the gear knob.
There aren’t any mechanical changes nor are there any changes to the variant line-up or equipment list. The car continues to be powered by 1.4 and 1.6-litre diesel engines. There is also a 1.6-litre petrol on offer. The 1.4-litre diesel makes 90 HP and 220 Nm of torque, while the 1.6-litre diesel churns out 128 HP and 260 Nm of torque. The 1.6-litre petrol mill produces 123 HP and 151 Nm of torque.
The 1.4-litre diesel gets a 6-speed manual transmission only. While the 1.6 diesel and petrol are available with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission options.
