Hyundai Alcazar facelift spotted with new colour ahead of September launch
Hyundai Alcazar is set to get an update this September. The carmaker is preparing to launch the facelifted model with drastic visual changes, new features and updated interiors. One of the test mules have been spotted shedding some camouflage, revealing new details of the car.
The prototype revealed the new maroon or deep red colour option that will be offered in the facelift. The side profile had minimal camouflage, revealing the front and rear door of the Alcazar facelift. Along with the new colour, notice the new dual tone alloy wheel design, which looks sleek and sporty.
The front and rear profile were still covered with camouflage. However, it will look similar to the Creta facelift to some extent. The front profile will get a sharp new headlight setup along with revised DRLs. The grille will also get new detailing to make it look fresh. The front and rear bumpers will be revised as well. The most distinctive angle will be the rear profile with larger tail lights compared to the Creta.
The interior is also expected to get some changes borrowed from the Creta facelift. The dashboard will get a new design and new colour options. We can expect Hyundai to offer more features with the updated Alcazar to keep up with the competition.
Features such as twin 10.25-inch screens, ADAS, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats are expected to be carried over from the Creta.
It is expected to retain the 160 HP, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 115 HP, 1.5-litre diesel engine from the current Creta. The existing manual and automatic gearbox options are also expected to continue.
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will continue to compete against the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700. What are your thoughts on the new colour? Let us know in the comments section below.
