2024 Hyundai Creta Design
The Alcazar will have a slightly different face from the Creta

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift launch is all set to take place in September 2024. The 7-seater SUV will feature a revamped design and upgraded features, intensifying its competition in the market.

The most anticipated update in the Alcazar facelift is the inclusion of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) technology, mirroring the recently launched Creta facelift. This translates to enhanced safety and keeps the vehicle at-par with rivals when it comes to equipoment.

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift carries forward the current model’s engine options. Expect a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine churning out 160 HP and 253 Nm of torque, alongside a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 116 HP and 250 Nm of torque. Expect the transmission choices to feature a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the petrol engine. Additionally, the diesel will get a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Alcazar facelift will continue to be available in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. Although the Creta and Alcazar share most of the components, design leaks reveal a distinct front fascia for the Alcazar, separating it visually from the Creta. The interiors may resemble the Creta, featuring a dual-screen layout for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. To set the Alcazar apart from the Creta, it may get new interior colour options, changes in alloy wheel design, and updated tailgate, and taillamp design. The Alcazar will carry forward the connected headlamps but will seek design changes on its grille.

The facelifted Alcazar is scheduled for a September launch, positioning it as a strong contender for the festive period. The prices will be announced in September and with the upgrades and new features, we anticipate a slight price hike. The current variants of the Alcazar range from Rs. 19.78 – 25.71 lakh (On-Road, Mumbai).
