Garware Motors will launch the Hyosung GT650N in India on the 13th of October. The GT650N, which is a naked version of the GT650R will help the company to increase its volumes significantly. Garware Motors aims to sell 1,200 bikes in the country within the first year. The GT650N looks alot more muscular and uses the same engine which does duty in the GT650R. The 650cc engine in the Hyosung GT650N produces 72 BHP of power at 9000 RPM and 60 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The GT650N will be priced around Rs. 1 lakh cheaper than the GT650R, making the bike value for money for the kind of performance it offers.
Garware Motors recently opened its 9th showroom in the country. The latest showroom was opened in Kochi, Kerala and the company is optimistic of selling 30 superbikes in the state by the end of the year. Garware Motors has showrooms in other cities including Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolhapur and Chandigarh. With 12 showrooms across India, Garware Motors will launch the GT250R in March 2012, priced around Rs. 2 lakhs. The GT250R which will help the Korean automaker to generate volumes.
