The Husqvarna Vektorr has been spotted in Pune
The Husqvarna Vektorr electric scooter has been spotted in India in prototype form, recently. The scooter was shown in concept form in May this year.
To become the Swedish brand’s very first electric scooter, which will go on sale next year, it seems the Vektorr’s development has been fast-paced.
Although the recently spotted Husqvarna Vektorr test mule’s identity was completely disguised, its unique shape is rather enough for one to distinguish it among a sea of scooters.
In this image one can see the circular instrument cluster of the scooter, the oval rear-view mirrors, split seat, and foot pegs along with flat grab handles for the pillion passenger.
Husqvarna has made sure to cover the electric drivetrain and the tyre hugger for the driving wheel, which houses the rear number plate.
Although there is no frontal view image of the Vektorr test mule, thanks to the model staying true to the concept, one can be rest assured that it will look identical to the concept.
Thus, up front, there will be a circular headlight with a DRL ring, minimalist front panel, lower panels shaped like air intakes, a short mudguard, a single brake disc (drum at the rear) and a monoshock.
Not much is known about the scooter when it comes to its specifications. Husqvarna only says that it will offer a range of up to 95 km and hit a top speed of 45 km/hr.
It is expected to sport the same mechanical components as the Bajaj Chetak which means, it could some with a 3 kWh battery pack and an electric motor putting out 6 HP and 16 Nm of torque.
