Husqvarna is currently developing the Explorer 250 along with the 401 adventure bikes.
Swedish company Husqvarna recently unveiled the Norden 901 adventure bike concept at the EICMA 2019 along with India-bound version of the Vitpilen 401 and the Svartpilen 401. The brand seems to be on a roll as they are already developing a new range of adventure motorcycles under the Explorer category. Husqvarna is currently developing the Explorer 250 along with the 401 adventure bikes. These motorcycles are likely to make their world debut in the next 2-3 years.
Though there is yet to be an official statement for the same, it is expected that the Explorer will get the same 250cc engine from its modern retro siblings. What will be new? The frame, the sub-frame along with the suspension setup. The rest of the cycle parts like the instrument cluster, headlamp and tail lamp units are likely to be borrowed from the 250cc siblings.
Since the brand will be manufacturing the Explorer 250 in India, one can expect it to feature a competitive price tag like the Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250. While a concept vehicle could break cover pretty soon, the world debut is likely to be around the year 2021.
