Husqvarna has increased the price for the first time.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 were introduced a month before lockdown. The much awaited motorcycles launched in India on 25th February.
Both the bikes were priced at Rs. 1.80 lakhs (ex-showroom). Now since the launch, the bike maker is increasing the price for the first time.
Following the latest trend in the industry, the Husqvarna twins are now Rs. 4736/- more expensive. Both Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 are priced at Rs. 1,84,768/- (ex-showroom).
Thanks to the unique Swedish design and an attractive price point, the Husqvarna bikes attracted a lot of attention. Some of the key highlights include, LED headlight, all-digital instrument cluster, Bosch ABS, ByBre brakes, WP suspension setup.
The bikes borrow the same engine from the KTM Duke 250. It is a 248.8cc, liquid cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 30 PS at 9000 RPM and 24 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
With the negative buyer sentiment during this pandemic crisis, we’ll have to wait and see the sales situation of these newly launched motorcycles.
