Honda has teased their upcoming SUV officially for India
Honda Car India’s upcoming SUV teased, launch by Summer 2023. The Japanese carmaker has revealed a sketch of their mid-size SUV.
This will be based on the Amaze platform and will be heavily localised in India. While the sketch teased is not too clear, we can see a hint of the new HR-V on the nose. It gets sleek headlights, large grille, skid plate on the chin and rugged body cladding.
It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota UC Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and the likes. The SUV will measure up to 4.3 metres in length.
You can expect the interior to share some elements with the existing Honda cars. The Japanese carmaker is likely to offer some new features to compete with the stiff competition. It should get features like 360 degree camera, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control, etc.
It is expected to share its engines with the new generation City. It won’t be offered with a diesel engine option. It is likely to get a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor and a strong hybrid 1.5-litre engine.
