Casey Stoner’s championship-winning MotoGP bike is on display at the Honda stall and will certainly delight MotoGP enthusiasts at the 2014 Auto Expo. The Honda MotoGP sports the iconic red, white and orange Repsol colours. The motorcycle adopted a 1000cc 4-cylinder V engine. Suspension duties are performed by Ohlins suspension at the front and rear. Honda has made sure to make the motorcycle as aerodynamic as possible with lightweight carbon-fibre bodywork in order to reach the maximum compatibility and performance between handling and drag.
Honda’s MotoGP bike is supplied tyres exclusively by Bridgestone and gets 125/60/R16 front tyre and 190/65/R16.5 rear tyre, with every rider permitted to use a maximum of 19 tyres for the season. Stopping power comes from carbon-fibre front brakes from Brembo, while Yutaka steel brakes are used under wet conditions.
