The Honda X-Blade ABS complies with upcoming safety norms.
Honda made a grand launch of the new X-Blade ABS motorcycle at the Delhi leg finale of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2018. The X-Blade is a sporty bike and is expected to improve the hold Honda has on the 150-180cc motorcycle segment.
To match up with the upcoming safety regulations in time, the X-Blade comes fitted with ABS and several segment first features. The X-Blade is powered by a 162.71cc HET engine which has a capacity to churn out 13.93 HP of power and 13.9 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. To add to the style of the motorcycle, the under cowl, front forks cover and wheel rim stripes come as standard additions to the bike.
Potential buyers can avail the X-Blade in 5 colours – Blue, Frozen Silver, Spartan Red, Igneous Black and Marshal Green. The X-Blade ABS is priced at Rs. 87,776/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The non-ABS model is priced at Rs 79,768/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), Honda is commanding a premium of Rs. 10,000/- for single-channel ABS. The X-Blade sold 5999 units in October 2018 making it Honda’s least selling bike in the 150-160cc segment.
