Honda SP160 is a mix of Unicorn and Hornet
Honda SP160 launched with a price tag of Rs. 1.17 lakhs for the Single Disc variant and Rs. 1.21 lakhs for the Dual Disc variant (all prices, ex-showroom).
The new motorcycle from Honda looks like a mix of Unicorn 160 and Hornet. It gets LED headlight and LED tail light. There are 5-spoke alloy wheels on offer, chrome treatment on the muffler and a brawny looking fuel tank with extensions.
Honda is offering the SP160 with these colour options – Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Matte Dark Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black and Pearl Deep Ground Gray.
The SP160 shares the main frame and its engine with the Honda Unicorn 160. It is powered by a 162cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 13.5 HP and 14.6 Nm of torque.
The bike is equipped single-channel ABS and is available with dual petal discs on the range topping trim and 130 mm rear drum on the base single disc variant. Gets 80/100-17 tyre at the front and 130/70-17 tyre at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic fork at the front and monoshock at the rear.
The motorcycle comes with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster that offers information including Clock, Service due indicator, Gear position indicator, side stand indicator, Fuel gauge and other mileage related information such as average fuel mileage, fuel consumption and average speed.
