Honda SP 125 BS6 Launched, Priced From Rs. 72,900/-

The Honda SP 125 BS6 motorcycle has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 72,900/-.

Honda launched the Activa BS6 in the Indian market sometime back and now the Japanese manufacturer has launched its first BS6 motorcycle, the SP 125 in India. The Honda SP 125 is a commuter motorcycle that does look rather appealing. It is priced from Rs. 72,900/- (ex-showroom) and sales will commence next week.

The Honda SP 125 comes with features like silent ACG starter which reduces the amount of power required for compression, swing back control, equaliser with CBS, 5-step adjustable rear suspension, seal chain, and HET tubeless tyres.

The motorcycle comes with a digital instrument cluster which shows the average and real-time fuel efficiency, DTE, gear position, Eco indicator and service reminder. The SP 125 is available in the following colours – Striking Green, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

Powering the Honda SP 125 is a 124cc, 4-stroke, SI engine churning out 10.72 HP at 7500 RPM and 10.9 Nm at 6000 RPM. It gets a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 160 mm, kerb weight of 118 kgs, and comes with 80/100/18 tyres. Available in two variants – disc and drum, the former gets a 240 mm disc or 130 mm drum up front while both variants get a 130 mm drum at the rear.
