Honda Offers Modulo Accessories For Amaze In India

Honda launched its compact sedan Amaze in March 2013 with an oil burner under its hood which uses Earth Dreams technology. The Japanese automaker has taken its own sweet time to bring a diesel engine into the Indian market but it had a dream run after its launch as the car’s pricing was spot on. The Amaze has managed to set the sales registers ticking even when there is a slump in the auto market. The compact sedan has given Honda the much needed boost and with the massive response for its debut diesel engine, the company is planning to launch diesel variants across its entire portfolio in the coming years.

As the festive season is considered auspicious, customers replace their old cars and buy new cars in this season generally. Every automaker is luring customers by launching special editions for their cars to increase sales in this festive season. Honda is offering new accessories for the Amaze which were first offered in Thailand. The new accessories include front spoiler, black grille surrounded by chrome, rear spoiler, side step garnish, trunk spoiler and a new set of redesigned alloy wheels. These accessories give a sporty feel to the Amaze and make the car look very attractive.

The Honda Amaze compact sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC turbo diesel engine with both engines being mated to 5-speed manual transmissions. The petrol engine is also offered with an option of a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The Amaze has given tough competition to its chief rival, the Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire by selling 6500 units monthly on an average since its launch. Honda has also doubled the production capacity and has added an extra shift at its manufacturing facility to reduce the waiting periods for their highest selling car in India.
