Honda has launched the Jazz Privilege Edition hatchback in India priced from Rs. 7.36 lakhs for the manual petrol variant and Rs. 8.82 lakhs for the manual diesel variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company had launched the Amaze Privilege Edition a few weeks back and we can expect more Privilege Edition variants of its cars, probably of the BR-V next.
Based on the Jazz V variant, the Jazz Privilege Edition gets a 7.0-inch DIGIPAD touchscreen infotainment system with audio, video and navigation system, Privilege Edition themed beige seat covers and floor mats, rear parking sensors, Privilege Edition badges on the car and also comes with Honda Connect.
Other features in the Honda Jazz Privilege Edition include dual airbags and ABS, a touch panel for AC controls, alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs with turn indicators and Paddle Shift (in the CVT automatic variant).
The Honda Jazz Privilege Edition continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that comes matched to a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. While the 1.2 petrol is good for 90 HP of power and 110 Nm of torque, the 1.5 diesel makes 100 HP and 200 Nm of torque. The 1.5 diesel is offered only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Honda Jazz rivals the Maruti Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20.
