Honda Jazz Cross Style launched in Japan, company adds some accessories to the existing Jazz that gives it a crossover styling.
Honda has launched the Jazz (known as Fit in the Japanese market) Cross Style in Japan. As the name suggests, the Jazz Cross Style is a crossover-styled hatchback.
The Jazz Cross Style is a Jazz with some extra accessories that lend it crossover styling. The exteriors get front and rear lower bumper garnish, tailgate stickers, body side moulding, wheel arch cladding, dark grey side sill garnish and 15-inch Modulo (MG-020) alloy wheels.
As part of the Cross Style package which costs JPY 1,38,240/- (approximately Rs. 79,469/-), all the above accessories can be had except the 15-inch alloy wheels. All these accessories can be had individually as well.
The 2017 Honda Jazz is available with 1.3-litre i-VTEC and 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engines that produce 100 HP and 119 Nm of torque, and 132 HP and 155 Nm of torque respectively. The Jazz is also available in a 1.5-litre i-VTEC & i-DCD petrol-electric hybrid engine option. While the 1.5-litre manages to deliver 110 HP and 134 Nm of torque, the electric motor generates 29.5 HP and 160 Nm of torque.
The Jazz Cross Style comes with all the bells and whistles like LED headlights, LED fog lamps, LED tail-lights, leather wrapped steering wheel, heated seats, infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and Honda Sensing package.
The Honda Sensing package includes advanced driver assistance features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation and Traffic Signal Detection.
