Honda Jazz BS6 variants have been leaked online, within weeks after the manufacturer commenced bookings for the hatchback and within days of its launch.
The BS6-compliant Honda Jazz will only come in three trim levels – V, VX and ZX and below, we have listed the new features that are to be available with each variant. The entire features list will be revealed when the car gets launched.
Honda Jazz BS6 Variants V
- LED DRLs (of a different order)
- Front grille in gloss black with chrome upper and lower accents
- Cruise control (added to MT)
- Jack knife retractable key
- Flush fit rear parking sensors
- Chrome ring on steering wheel controls
Honda Jazz BS6 Variants VX
In addition to the new features available on the V variant, the VX trim-level gets new features such as –
- Soft touch pad dashboard (assistant side)
- Start/stop button with white and red illumination (added to MT)
- Honda Smart Key system with keyless remote (added to MT)
Honda Jazz BS6 Variants ZX
Over and above the VX variant, Honda Jazz ZX get the following new features –
- Electric sunroof with one-touch open/close function and auto reverse
- LED headlamps with LED DRLs
- LED front fog lamps
Launch of the Honda Jazz BS6 is expected to take place by 26th August and the latest iteration of the car comes with updated styling and gets a new bumper at the front and rear, rear LED “Wing Light”, apart from the above mentioned features.
The hatchback will be powered by a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and there are two gearbox options to choose from – a manual or a CVT with paddle shifters. On-road prices of the car is likely to start around the Rs. 10 lakhs mark.
