An 84-year old Honda fan has been gifted a new Honda CB300R in USA, for the loyalty that he has shown towards Honda all his life.
Brand loyalty is a well known term used in the automobile industry where people fall in love with the vehicle/s that they own. The reasons for the same may range from good brand image, safety features, vehicle longevity, after sales experience, vehicle characteristics to just pure attraction to name a few. On a similar and interesting note, longtime Honda motorcycle owner Mr. Harry Adler was gifted a 2015 Honda CB300F to appreciate the love, loyalty and dedication that he has shown towards Honda his entire life.
Mr. Adler is 84 years old now has been riding motorcycles since 1963. He has only purchased Honda motorcycles to date, having owned a large variety of models including a Helix scooter, Grom, CRF230M, CBR250R, VT600CD, VTX1300 and VTX1800C. The Honda CB300F is the naked version of the CBR300R and is powered by a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine which generates 30.4 BHP at 8500 RPM with a peak torque of 27 Nm at 7250 RPM. The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Mr. Harry Andler has owned 54 Honda models in his lifetime out of which 48 were purchased from Horner Honda. The new CB300F gifted to Mr. Adler is his 55th Honda motorcycle and he currently owns eight Honda motorcycles including his new present, and also two Honda generators. Over the past so many years, Mr. Adler has been riding motorcycles for the sheer pleasure and happiness that they offer. He considers Honda to be the best motorcycle brand based on his own experience and he always relied on Honda because the company reportedly took good care of him and have also been very responsive to his concerns. Mr. Adler was very surprised when he got the CB300F as a gift and looks forward to riding it.
Surely, there might be a few similar stories which showcase brand loyalty somewhere in India too, but getting a brand new vehicle as a token of appreciation is always going to be very rare to find. Mr. Harry Adler is indeed a very loyal and lucky Honda owner and he truly deserves the CB300F as a gift. Meanwhile in India, Honda hasn’t even bothered to give upcoming owners modern technology on its scooters, the Activa 3G still lacking telescopic front forks.
