Honda Forza 300 flagship scooter delivered in India, BS6 launch countrywide next year.
Honda has added another premium offering to their Big Wing showrooms in India which is their flagship scooter in the country – Honda Forza 300. 4 units of the scooter have been delivered in the country at an undisclosed price.
The Japanese bike maker will introduce the Forza 300 with a BS6 engine next year. The first lot that has been delivered comes with a BS4 engine and they are not yet ready with a BS6 motor for countrywide launch anytime soon.
Powering the Honda Forza 300 is a 279cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC four-valve engine which produces 24.8 BHP at 7000 RPM.
It comes with a Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) which helps in regaining rear wheel traction by detecting difference between front and rear wheel speeds. It calculates the slip ratio and controls engine torque via the fuel injection.
Suspension duties are handled by 33 mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. Gets 15-inch front and 14-inch rear tyre with 256 mm disc brake up front and 240 mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS.
It is a spacious and practical scooter, 2 full face helmets can be stored under the seat. It has a 12V charging socket, smart key and other premium features on offer. The Forza 300 is expected to come with a price tag of Rs. 4 lakhs (ex-showroom).
