Honda Elevate Crosses 1 Lakh Sales Mark, 53,326 Units Sold Nationally & 47,653 Units Sold Internationally

The Honda Elevate has crossed the 1 lakh sales mark. It is important to note that the Tata Curvv and Hyundai Creta crossed this mark at the end of January 2025, meaning Honda has arrived late to the party. Let’s understand what this means for the Japanese SUV.

Sales Figures

Honda has managed to sell 53,326 units of the Elevate in India and exported 47,653 units to countries like Japan, Nepal, South Africa and Bhutan. The statistics suggest that Elevate accounts for 79% of Honda’s sales. The most common buying group which is a household having 2 cars, accounts for 43% of Elevate’s sales.

The Elevate is sold in four variants: SV, V, VX and ZX variant, priced between Rs. 11.91 lakhs to Rs. 16.73 lakhs (ex-showroom). The latter is the most preferred variant in the lineup equipped with ADAS accounting for 53% of the sales, generally with the CVT Transmission option. The CVT Variant is available in the variants above the SV Variant, is the base model.

Another important statistic to note is that 22% of the buyers of the Elevate bought it as their first car. The automobile is a reflection of the personality and the Elevate was purchased in Pearl White shade the most, accounting for 35.1% of customer sales. The Golden Brown Metallic is the next most bought shade with 19.9% of customers opting for the shade.

In the third position comes the Meteroid Grey Metallic which was opted by 15.4%. The final popular shade proves to be the Obsidian Blue Pearl as chosen by 15.3 percent of the buyers. The rest of the shades: Lunar Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic and Phoenix Orange Pearl were optioned by 14.3% of the buyers.

Honda Elevate Increased Export Growth

The average monthly sales of the Elevate were just 2000 units between the April 2024 to January 2025 period. However, the exports have seen a rapid rise as they were nearly double the Indian Sales figure in Q1 of FY25. Honda started selling the Elevate internationally in 2023 and in markets like Japan, it is known as the Honda WR-V.

Honda reported 65% growth in FY2024 and over 92% growth in FY2025 of the Elevate, a sizeable figure. With this, Honda can contribute to the nation’s economy as well.

Outlook

Honda has also launched the Elevate Black Edition catering to the audience wanting a sportier feel. In addition to confirming all of its cars i.e. Amaze and City being E20 Compliant, the Japanese manufacturer seems poised to take on the most popular segment in India.
