With the festive season commenced, every manufacturer is trying to capitalize on the auspicious times and a slew of new products, special editions, limited editions, offers, freebies have been planned by the automakers to lure in the customers. While Suzuki updated the Hayate with aesthetic upgrades, the other Japanese giant Honda isn’t far lagging behind either and has launched a new colour option for the Dream Neo in the same 110cc commuter motorcycle segment.
To celebrate the festive season, the Honda Dream Neo now gets a new white paint shade with elegant red stripes in addition to the existing colour options available on the motorcycle. Honda further states that the new paint scheme is available at no extra cost than the regular model. There are no other changes to the Dream Neo and the bike continues to draw power from the same 109cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine producing 8.4 PS of peak power and 8.63 Nm of torque, paired to a 4-speed gearbox.
The Dream Neo also gets the new Honda Eco Technology (HET) for higher fuel efficiency. Suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks in front and a 5-step spring loaded shock absorber at the rear. Stopping power on the other hand comes from a 130 mm drum brakes at the front and rear. Apart from the new white shade, the entry-level motorcycle is available in four more shades including Black with Violet stripes, Black with Red stripes, Alfa Red and Monsoon Grey Metallic. The 2014 Dream Neo is priced at Rs. 42,237/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
