The Honda City Google Assistant can be used to execute various actions like locking the doors, locating the vehicle and so on
Honda Cars India has introduced Google Assistant feature for the City along with 4 new connected features, today, to enhance user experience.
Launched in celebration of the 1-year anniversary of the fifth-generation City, the Google Assistant feature is an extension of the car’s connected technology that is already compatible with Amazon Alexa.
The Honda Action on Google will offer as many as 10 voice-enabled features. These can be executed through Google Assistant enabled devices such as Google Nest Speakers and Android mobiles and is also supported by iOS smartphones.
Below are some of the key functionalities of Honda City Google Assistant –
- Find my Car
- Locate My Car
- Remote boot opening
- Tyre deflation status
- Time Fencing Alert
- Remote functions – Switch on/off air-con, set temperature, lock and unlock doors
- Get status of odometer reading, engine health, battery health, fuel, etc
- Service features (service history, validity of PUC, RSA and insurance)
Additionally, the voice-based features can be used with text-based command functionality of Google as well.
Apart from Google Assistant, Honda City now comes with 4 new connected features, which takes the total of such features on offer with the C-segment sedan to 36.
The new connected features include fuel log analysis, cost of maintenance, valet alert and enhanced options for service products.
