Honda introduces special editions for City and Amaze ahead of the festive season
Honda City Elegant and Honda Amaze Elite special editions launched in India. The Honda City Elegant edition is priced at Rs. 12.57 lakhs for MT and Rs. 13.82 lakhs for CVT. The Honda Amaze Elite edition is priced at Rs. 9.03 lakhs for MT and Rs. 9.85 lakhs for CVT (all prices, ex-showroom).
The Japanese carmaker aims to boost the sales of both the products during the upcoming festive season. Since the newly launched Honda Elevate is gathering a lot of attention and is flying off the shelves, there is no special edition for the compact SUV.
The new Elegant and Elite editions are based on the V grade of Honda City and the VX grade of Honda Amaze. These are available in both manual and automatic transmission options and with all the colour options available.
Some of the additional features of the Honda City Elegant edition includes Trunk Spoiler with LED, Wireless Charger (Plug and Play type), Front Fender Garnish, Elegant Edition Seat Cover, Sleek Step Illumination, Elegant Edition Badge and Leg Room Lamp.
Some of the additional features of the Honda Amaze Elite edition includes Trunk Spoiler with LED, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Display in Honda Connect App), Front Fender Garnish, Front Armrest (Sliding Type), Anti Fog Film on ORVM, Elite Edition Seat Cover, Elite Edition Step illumination, Elite Edition Badge and Tyre Inflator.
There are no mechanical changes. The Amaze continues to be offered with the same 1.2-litre engine making 90 PS at 6000 RPM and 110 Nm at 4800 RPM. It is available with 5-speed manual and CVT auto transmission options. The City is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol unit that produces 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. Comes with 6-speed manual transmission and CVT automatic transmission options.
