Honda 350 Scrambler Patent

Honda preparing to launch CB350 based Scrambler by next year in India

Honda appears to be expanding its offerings further with the emergence of a new 350cc scrambler model. Following recent reports of Honda’s plans to enter the adventure segment with a bike inspired by the Himalayan 411, leaked design patent images now suggest the development of a rugged scrambler variant based on the CB350 platform.

The leaked images reveal design elements indicative of a scrambler, featuring metal frames along the sides of the fuel tank, fork gaiters and an upswept exhaust. Notably, these design cues align closely with the adventure motorcycle seen in the recent patent images.

It’s speculated that Honda will leverage the same chassis and engine from the CB350 series for this scrambler iteration. While the engine tuning is expected to remain unchanged, adjustments to gear ratios may be made to suit the bike’s intended nature. Additionally, to manage costs effectively, Honda is likely to borrow several cycle parts from the CB350 platform for this new model.

While Honda has yet to provide official confirmation regarding the launch timeline of this scrambler model, we anticipate its introduction in early 2025. Regarding pricing, it’s anticipated that both the adventure and scrambler variants will be positioned above the current CB350 range, reflecting the added features and premium body styles offered by these upcoming models.

Honda is aggressively working on new products to directly rival some of the Royal Enfield motorcycles. What are your thoughts on the upcoming adventure and scrambler motorcycles based on the CB350 platform? Let us know in the comments section.
