Honda CB300F will be sold exclusively via the BigWing dealership network
Honda CB300F launched with a price tag of Rs. 1.70 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike has been updated to meet the OBD-2 compliance. It comes with a heavily revised price which comes down by Rs. 59,000/-, making it a very attractive choice in this segment.
There are no changes in the styling. It comes in three colour options – Sports Red, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. The bike looks sporty and takes inspiration from some of its elder siblings sold in the international markets. Gets all-LED lighting system.
The Honda CB300F is powered by a 293cc, oil-cooled, SOHC, BS 6.2 compliant engine which produces 24 HP and 25.6 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which comes with slip and assist clutch.
For braking, the bike gets 276 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS and Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Suspension duties are handled by golden USD front forks and 5-step adjustable rear mono shock.
Honda is offering a fully-digital instrument cluster with the CB300F which comes with 5 levels of customisable brightness and displays information like Speedometer, Odometer, Tachometer, Fuel Gauge, Twin Trip Meters, Gear Position Indicator and a Clock. It also gets Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) for connectivity.
It will be sold via their premium dealership network of Honda BigWing. The Honda CB300F will compete with the likes of KTM Duke 250, Bajaj Dominar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the likes.
