Honda Activa 5G limited edition launched with visual updates and new colour options.
Honda has introduced a limited edition of their popular scooter, Activa 5G. The Honda Activa 5G limited edition gets some cosmetic enhancement and two new colour options. There are no mechanical or equipment updates with this edition. The Honda Activa 5G limited edition is priced at Rs. 55,032/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Japanese bike maker has given new graphics to the limited edition model. Some of the cosmetic changes include black rims, chrome muffler cover, blacked out engine with contrasting grab rail, inner interior cover and seat. The Activa 5G limited edition is available in two dual tone colours – Pearl Precious White with Matte Selene Silver and Strontium Silver Metallic with Pearl Igenous Black.
Rest of the scooter remains unchanged. The Activa 5G is powered by a 109cc engine that produces 8 BHP at 7500 RPM and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. This engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission. It is equipped with CBS as standard.
The Honda Activa 5G is the highest selling scooter in the Indian market and at time the highest selling 2-wheeler in India. The limited edition model will help the Japanese bike maker garner more sales. The extremely popular scooter will be getting a substantial update by 2020.
