Honda has unveiled the new BS6 ready Activa 125 and will introduce it later this year in September.
Honda has unveiled the new BS6 compliant Activa 125 that will go on sale later this year around September. The Activa 125 comes with a new LED headlamp with repositioned LED DRL, digital analogue meter with eco speed indicator, service due indicator, etc. The scooter also gets a 3-step adjustable rear suspension along with 12-inch alloy wheels and CBS.
Powering the Activa 125 is the new BS6 ready 124.9cc, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine. This engine produces 8.52 BHP at 6500 RPM and 10.54 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. The scooter is also equipped with a new silent start with ACG motor. Adding to the list of features is the ability of the scooter to display real-time fuel efficiency and distance to empty. Honda has also provided a side-stand indicator with the scooter and an idling stop system that cuts out the engine at traffic lights.
The Activa 125 comes with under seat storage as well as a front glove box. A USB charging socket is also available on the scooter as an optional extra. Honda will provide the 125cc scooter in various colour schemes such as Rebel Red Metallic, Black, Heavy Gray Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Precious White and Majestic Brown Metallic. Honda is also offering a special 6-year warranty package that includes 3 years standard plus 3 years optional extended warranty.
