Honda launched the Amaze in India on 11th April 2013 and since then the carmaker has managed to sell an impressive 30,000 units of the Brio based sedan. The Amaze is the first model in the history of Honda India to achieve this milestone so quickly. Since April this year, the carmaker has experienced growth every month and 65 percent growth during April-July 2013 compared to the same period last year. Thanks to 90 percent localisation of the Honda Amaze, the company has managed to price the Honda Amaze aggressively in order to compete head on with the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire.
