The Hero Xtreme 200S has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 98,500/-
Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xtreme 200S in India and this is the faired version of the Xtreme 200R. The Hero Xtreme 200S shares its geometry and chassis with its sibling and even comes with the same engine. The Xtreme 200S is priced at Rs. 98,500/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Hero Xtreme 200S looks sporty but the company has said that this bike is aimed at comfortable riding. The bike comes powered by the same 199.6cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that belts out 18.4 PS at 8000 RPM and 17.1 Nm at 6500 RPM. The bike is available in only a carb variant and FI isn’t available right now.
The Hero Xtreme 200S comes with a diamond frame. It gets 37 mm telescopic forks upfront and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Single channel ABS is standard on the motorcycle. The tyre sizes are 100/80/17 (front) and 130/70/17 (rear). The bike measures 2062 mm in length, 778 mm in width and 1106 mm in height. It has a seat height of 795 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm. It has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5-litres and weighs 149 kgs.
