The styling is unchanged

UPDATE – The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition was earlier reported as the new Xtreme 200 4V and content about the new Pleasure+ Xtec and Maestro Edge 125 with Hero Connect has been added.

The vehicle which was thought to be the Hero Xtreme 200R 4V is actually the Stealth Edition of the Xtreme 160R

Hero MotoCorp recently showcased a range of updated 2-wheelers to its dealers and what was initially thought of as the Xtreme 200 4V has now been identified to be the ‘Stealth Edition’ of the existing Xtreme 160R.

Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition –

Set to be introduced soon in the market, the Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition comes with a dark paint scheme comprising both matte and gloss sections.

Dark colours do suit the styling of the bike

Other than the new paint scheme and model-specific badging, the naked bike could come with Bluetooth connectivity. But other features like full-LED lighting, digital instrument display, single-channel ABS will also be as is on the regular variant.

Powering the bike will be the same 163cc, single-cylinder motor putting out 15 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. It is not known if the motor will receive the 4-valve treatment for now. But, the transmission will be the same 5-speed unit.

At present, the Xtreme 160R costs between Rs. 1,11,610/- (base model) and Rs. 1,16,460/- (100 Million Edition) (prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the Stealth Edition could be priced similar to the 100 Million Edition.

Expected to be launched on 6th October, the upgraded adventure bike (ADV) should have more power than what the 2-valve version of the 199.6cc motor produces, which is 17.84 BHP and 16.45 Nm.

Hero has also released a couple of teasers on social media in order to send the message out about the refreshed Xpulse 200 range which do not sport any styling changes, but do come with new colours and graphics.

Currently, Hero charges Rs. 1,23,150/- (ex-showroom, New Delhi) for the Xpulse 200 and the 4-valve model should cost a bit more. The price of the Rally Kit (Rs. 46,000/-) should remain as is.

Pleasure+ Xtec –

The Pleasure+ Xtec comes with a new colour

In addition to the motorcycles, Hero also showcased the Pleasure+ Xtec to its dealers. This will become the new top-spec variant of the 110cc scooter.

While there will be no mechanical changes, the Hero Pleasure+ Xtec which is based on the Platinum Edition of the scooter will likely feature an LED headlamp, Bluetooth connectivity, a pillion backrest, and plentiful chrome trim.

It will be offered with a new yellow colour and should cost more than the Pleasure+ Platinum Edition which is priced at Rs. 66,400/- (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Maestro Edge 125 with Hero Connect –

The BS6 Maestro Edge 125 gets more features

Finally, the Hero Maestro Edge 125 with Hero Connect was also showcased at the event. It had the Prismatic Yellow paint scheme.

The Hero Connect telematics solution provides vehicle start alert, live tracking, driving score, Geo fence alert, last parking location, speed alert, topple alert, tow away alert and trip analysis.

It will not come with any mechanical changes, but should cost more than the regular variant of the 125cc scooter.
