Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is available in three variants
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V launched with a starting price of Rs. 1.27 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike comes in three trims – Standard, Connected and Pro. The Connected version comes at a price of Rs. 1.32 lakhs (ex-showroom) while the range topping Pro variant is priced at Rs. 1.36 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The bike looks the same apart from a few changes including new graphics, colours, revised fuel tank, under cowl, rear grip, lowered headlamp with new finlets and new seat with single and split option.
The Standard trim comes with Blazing Sports Red and Matt Slate Black colour options. Connected variant gets Matt Slate Black while the Pro version comes with Neon Shooting Star and Matt Slate Black colour options.
Now Hero MotoCorp claims the Xtreme 160R 4V is the fastest motorcycle in the segment having best in class acceleration and drag timing. It is powered by a 163.2cc, air-oil cooled, 4 valve engine that produces 16.9 PS at 8500 RPM and 14.6 Nm at 6500 RPM. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
It does 0-60 km/hr acceleration in a claimed timing of 4.4 seconds. They claim it is the fastest in 0-100 km/hr and top speed but haven’t revealed the data in their spec sheet.
It comes with a 37 mm inverted KYV front fork suspension and 7-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension by Showa. For braking it comes with 276 mm front petal disc and 220 mm rear petal disc.
It has a seat height of 795 mm, 165 mm ground clearance, 12 litres of fuel tank capacity and 145 kg kerb weight.
In terms of features it gets all-LED setup including position lamp, Low Beam, High Beam, Tail lamp, Signature Tail Lamp and winkers. The display comes with info like Bluetooth Status, Battery Health Status, Service Alert, Gear Position, ABS/Engine Malfunction, Call/SMS/ Missed Call alerts, etc.
The Hero Connect 2.0 offers features like Remote Immobilization, Geo Fence, theft alerts & battery removal notification, SOS alert, low fuel alert, over-speeding alert, topple alert, in-app navigation services, real-time vehicle tracking, option to share location, driving report, Call, SMS Alerts, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Find my vehicle, etc.
