Hero Xtreme 125R price revealed, available in two variants – IBS and ABS
Hero Xtreme 125R launched with a price tag of Rs. 95,000/- (ex-showroom) for the IBS variant and Rs. 99,500/- (ex-showroom) for the ABS variant. The bike is available across all the Hero MotoCorp dealerships starting today.
In terms of design, it looks very different and follows a new design direction. It comes with a projector LED headlamp setup, muscular fuel tank design, split seat setup and split grab handles.
The Xtreme 125R features a new 125cc engine that has been termed as SPRINT by the two-wheeler maker which stands for Smooth Power Response and Instant Torque with EBT (Engine Balancer Technology). The balancer shaft along with silent cam chain is said to offer high refinement levels.
The bike has a power output of 11.4 BHP and it can accelerate from 0-60 km/hr in 5.9 seconds. The Hero Xtreme 125R comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 66 km/l. The bike also features i3S idle stop start system to further enhance fuel efficiency.
The bike comes with an all LED set up which has projector LED headlamp, LED turn indicators and LED tail lamp. The bike also has a sporty looking compact muffler, which they claim, is powered with a Hero Signature Beat. The wheel cover further adds to the sporty aesthetics. It features a negative LCD instrument cluster with gear position indicator and Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts.
Xtreme 125R uses a diamond type frame which is tuned for better handling. It comes with widest in class 120/80 section rear tyre and the thickest in segment 37 mm diameter front suspension. The 7 step adjustable monoshock is tuned for comfort.
The front and rear suspension is specifically developed for this bike in collaboration with Showa. It comes with a wide and flat handlebar for a sporty yet comfortable riding experience.
The new Xtreme 125R also features single channel ABS with 276 mm diameter front disc brake. The bike comes with a Hazard Lamp which too. Colour options include the firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue and Stallion Black.
