The Hero XPulse 200T is a touring machine that is being showcased at the ongoing EICMA 2018 .
In a bid to expand its premium motorcycle range, Hero MotoCorp unveiled the all-new XPulse 200T at EICMA 2018. The bike will be an addition to the current 200cc line up of the company, which includes Hero Xtreme 200R and the upcoming XPulse 200.
The XPulse 200T is a touring bike. It offers retro styling along with modern equipment like LED lights, monoshock suspension and a Euro 4 compliant engine. The XPulse 200T has an upright riding position with comfortable ergonomics. The bike has large luggage plates which would allow easy mounting of the luggage.
At the front, the bike is equipped with a small windscreen. For safety purpose, the XPulse 200T comes with a single channel ABS. The bike also features turn-by-turn navigation should the rider ever get lost. The instrument console is fully digital and offers Bluetooth connectivity as well.
The XPulse 200 is an adventure bike, which is mainly meant for off-road riding, while the new XPulse 200T likes to keep the business on the tarmac. The comfortable riding position, the luggage carrying capacity are all signs of a touring bike.
The XPulse 200T offers a single long seat and straight handlebar. Its engine is likely to be the same 200cc motor which powers the Hero Xtreme 200R, but with a different tune. It has a kick and an electric start system.
Along with the XPulse 200T, Hero MotoCorp also unveiled 4 new custom concept motorcycles. These motorcycles are based on the XPulse 200T platform. The custom lineup includes a cafe racer, a desert bike, a scrambler and surprisingly a flat-track bike. These custom bikes are an attempt from the company to showcase its potential.
Hero MotoCorp is now working towards the launch of XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T. Both of them will launch at the beginning of next year worldwide.
