Hero Xpulse 200 2V discontinued as the bike maker delists it
Hero Xpulse 200 2V has been discontinued in the country. Hero MotoCorp has removed the two-valve version of the motorcycle from the website.
Now their website only lists Xpulse 200 4V and 200T. The Xpulse 200 2V was powered by a 199.6cc single cylinder engine that produces 17.8 HP at 8500 RPM and 16.45 Nm at 6500 RPM. The power and torque figures are slightly lower than the 4V version of the bike.
The Indian two-wheeler maker might have taken it off the shelves to focus on the 200 4V and 200T variants by streamlining the Xpulse lineup. They are also making way for the upcoming 421cc adventure motorcycle. It is likely to launch soon as the bike has been spotted testing multiple times across the country.
The upcoming Herp Xpulse 400 with a larger capacity engine is likely to produce around 40 HP. The 421cc adventure motorcycle will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure and the yet to be launched Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
