Hero MotoCorp has launched the Super Splendor i3S in India with a BS-IV compatible engine.
The Hero Super Splendor is powered by a 124.7cc engine and it produces 9.12 PS of power at 7000 RPM and 10.35 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. Surprisingly, the power of the 125cc bike is lesser than that of its 110cc sibling. The Splendor 110 iSmart produces 9.5 PS of power from the new 109.15cc that the bike is powered by.
The new Hero Super Splendor competes directly against the Honda CB Shine and TVS Star City. The new Super Splendor comes with a BS-IV compatible engine and it now gets AHO.
Visually the bike still looks the same as the previous model. The Heavy Grey colour has been discontinued from their new lineup. The bike is available in only one variant. The Hero Super Splendor i3s is priced at Rs. 55,272/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). Hero has started accepting bookings for the bike, and deliveries will commence soon.
