Hero Off-Road Bike Images Leak Ahead Of EICMA 2017

Hero Off-Road Bike Profile

A Hero motorcycle from Raid De Himalaya could be close to the upcoming off-road motorcycle from the company.

The bike in pictures is a purpose-built off-road motorcycle

Hero’ teaser image of its upcoming off-road motorcycle has left many anticipating it. It is supposed to be wrapped off at the EICMA 2017 which will commence tomorrow. Ahead of it, we see a few images of the Hero off-road motorcycle being showcased at the Raid De Himalaya. If we are to make assumptions, this looks close to what we might see Hero unveiling at the motorcycle show in Milan.

The source from where the images have been acquired stated that it incorporates a 250cc fuel-injected powerplant. Besides, it runs on a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel. As apparent from the images, the motorcycle is suspended with long travel forks while the wheels are shod with fairly knobby tyres to tackle the intense bumps. The front fender has been raised high and a close look at the brakes reveal the lack of ABS. The belly pan, high ground clearance and tall seat height complete the adventure bike character.

The Hero off-road bike which we are a few hours away from encountering might not be exactly similar as this is a pure purpose-built off-road motorcycle and carries the components accordingly. However, the aspects may closely resemble along with the motorcycle bearing a few tweaks to make it usable for daily commutes as well. Reports have been obtained that the upcoming Hero motorcycle cannot be taken as the successor of the Hero Impulse. Going with that, we expect it to have a higher displacement engine, better suspension and brakes and upmarket features to compete with modern day bikes.
