Hero MotoCorp has showcased special off-road version of their 100cc commuter motorcycle called the Passion Pro TR at the 2014 Auto Expo. The Passion Pro TR gets subtle changes to the exterior and equipment to make it compatible with off-roading situations.
Visually the Hero Passion Pro TR retains the same body; however there have been additions which include on-off tyres, sturdier handlebars with cross brace, high front fender, hugger front fender, headlight grille, hand guards for added protection, bash plate and fuel tank pads. Hero has added a host of new colours and graphics to complete the off-road look.
Mechanically, the Passion Pro TR retains the same specifications. The motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke, 97.2cc engine that churns out 7.7 BHP of power at 7000 RPM and 8.04 Nm of torque mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Stopping power comes from a 240 mm disc brake in front and a drum brake setup at the rear. Whereas telescopic shocks are used in front and 5-step adjustable hydraulics shocks are used at the rear.
