Hero MotoCorp has revealed its new brand identity at the O2 Arena on the banks of river Thames. The company has also adopted a new theme song titled “Hum Main Hai Hero,” which has been composed by A.R. Rahman. The event saw the presence of the top management of Hero MotoCorp along with Shah Rukh Khan (anchored the event), Ranbir Kapoor (unveiled the 150cc on-road-off-road motorcycle Impulse) and Irfan Pathan (unveiled Maestro 110cc scooter). The event also witnessed performances by Akon and Anoushka Sharma.
The Hero MotoCorp Impulse is a dual purpose on-road-off-road bike which features high ground clearance with large dial front wheel with stud-type tread pattern tyres, nitrox-gas filled mono-shock rear suspension, large front disc brakes, nitrox-gas filled mono-shock rear suspension, high mount muffler, large and raised fenders, straight pull spokes, knuckle guards, motocross seat, Digital Combi meter with Service Due indicator, clock and digital vertical bar display fuel gauge. The Impulse dirt bike will be available in five colours – Black, Leaf Green Metallic, Vibrant Orange. Vibrant Blue Metallic and Sports Red.
The new 110 cc scooter Maestro comes with a New Generation V-Matic engine and Advanced Microprocessor Ignition (AMI) with TCIS, variomatic drive, magnetic head ignition key with shutter, digital–analog meter console, with service indicator, combi-brake system, anti-slip texture, foldable pillion foot peg adds and tuff-up tubes. The Maestro will be available in six colors – Panther Black Met, Candy Blazing Red, Maestro Blue Met, Pearl Fadeless White, Force Silver Met, Pearl Harvest Green. Maestro is the second scooter from the Hero MotoCorp stable, after the Pleasure.
