Hero Mavrick 440 Spied Testing, Launch This Month

Hero Mavrick 440 spied for the first time, shares Harley-Davidson X440 platform

Hero MotoCorp is all set to reveal their new motorcycle later this month, which is rumoured to be called Hero Mavrick 440. The price announcement is likely to happen sometime in February, while the deliveries will commence soon after.

The prototype of the Hero Mavrick 440 has been spotted on test for the first time. It will be using the same underpinnings and engine as the Harley-Davidson X440 but will get a completely different styling to differentiate the two products of the Hero-Harley partnership.

The test mule is covered in heavy camouflage but we can make out the neo-retro styling of the bike. It will have a completely new design direction for the Indian two-wheeler maker and attract a lot of eye balls.

It comes with a circular LED headlight with H-shaped LED DRLs. It also gets LED turn indicators, bar-end mirrors and black alloy wheels. The rider has an upright seating position, which looks slightly different compared to the Harley-Davidson X440.

The Hero Mavrick 440 is likely to be powered by the same 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine as the Harley-Davidson X440. The engine on the HD produces 27 BHP at 6000 RPM and 38 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
