Hero MotoCorp has launched the Maestro Edge 125 Stealth Edition with a price tag of Rs. 72,950/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), today.
As the name states, the new edition of the scooter comes in a Matte Grey theme with new graphics, “Stealth” crest badging, carbon fibre striping, dual textured seat and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
No other changes have been made to the vehicle other than these cosmetic revisions. Mechanically it remains the same.
Thus, the scooter comes with a 125cc BS6-compliant engine that delivers a power output of 9 BHP at 7000 RPM and 10.4 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM.
Launch of the Stealth edition kicks off Hero’s festive campaign and the firm hopes this new addition will add to the Maestro Edge brand’s appeal.
It was only last month that Hero launched the 110cc version of the scooter with a starting price tag of Rs. 60,950/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 110.9cc single-cylinder mill that powers the scooter produces 8 HP of maximum power at 7500 RPM and 8.75 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM.
More launches are lined up and will be introduced by the automaker in the coming weeks. The top 2-wheeler manufacturer is aiming to grab more sales this festive season, since last year’s sales was dampened by the economic slowdown.
