You read it first on MotorBeam. Hero MotoCorp has been on an update spree ever since the beginning of this year introducing aesthetics upgrades and design changes on its range of two-wheelers across different segments. Now, our sources state that Hero will be updating the Glamour, Ignitor and Maestro two-wheelers with new colour options ahead of the festive season to keep the models fresh. The bikes get no mechanical changes and the upgrades are purely aesthetic. Moreover, our source stated that the Maestro and the soon to be launched Xtreme Sports will also be available with dual-tone colour options.
The new colours include a special matte grey option for the Maestro automatic scooter that has been added to the palette in addition to the existing six colour options available. The Maestro is powered by a 109cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine that produces 8.2 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.10 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The Glamour motorcycle on the other hand gets a new dual-tone dark blue and black paintjob sporting the same checkered body graphics. The new colour is the fourth dual-tone colour option available on the Glamour and continues to draw power from the same 124.7cc engine that puts out 9 BHP at 7000 RPM and 10.35 Nm at 4000 RPM, paired to a 4-speed gearbox.
The third bike to get the new colour is the Hero Ignitor sporting a funky yellow paintjob along with new body graphics on the half-fairing and the rear section. Hero has also provided a body coloured engine cowl on the new variant, instead of the matte black unit found on the regular version of the motorcycle. With no mechanical upgrades, the Ignitor boasts of the same 124.7cc engine that produces 11 BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Hero will be announcing the launch of the new colours shortly, expect no changes to the pricing.
