Hero Glamour SV launched with 3 variants on offer to cater to a larger audience.
Hero MotoCorp entered Argentina with the new Glamour earlier this year making the new Glamour its first-ever international product launch. Following the global launch, Hero launched the new and updated Glamour here in India too and priced it at Rs. 57,755/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base drum brake variant.
Now it has come to light that Hero has renamed the Glamour as Glamour SV. The company’s official website too states the name as Glamour SV. Apparently the SV in the Glamour SV is stolen from Lamborghini. Powering the Glamour SV is a 124.7cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine that produces 11.4 HP and 11 Nm of torque. This powerplant comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The 125cc best-seller gets the company’s i3S micro-hybrid technology that helps in increased fuel efficiency.
Available in 3 variants – the base drum brake variant costs Rs. 57,755/-, front disc brake variant costs Rs. 59,755/- and the fuel-injected variant costs Rs. 63,580/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Glamour SV carburetted version is offered in a choice of 4 colour schemes – Black with Blue, Black with Red, Black with Metallic Grey and Candy Red while the fuel injected version is offered in a choice of 3 colour schemes – Candy Red, Black with Blue and Black with Red.
